Properties: Tricalcium phosphate is a white amorphous powder, produced by a unique process, anhydrous, its melting point is 1670 °C, relative density of 3.14, soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid and nitric acid, very slightly soluble in cold water (solubility in water is 0.0025 g/100gH2O), insoluble in ethanol.
