Function

The one-way degassing valve is especially suitable for stocking coffee beans. The one-way degassing coffee valve effectively vents CO2 gas produced by coffee beans while sealing out oxygen, moisture and contaminants in the air. 

Application

The most common application of the one-way degassing valve is for fresh roasted coffee. Another application is to release trapped air for stocking and producing stable shipping pallets, including large flexible packages for pet food, animal nutrition, plastic resin, and agricultural chemicals.

How does it work?

When pressure inside a sealed package increases beyond the atmosphere pressure”, the film within the valve body will spontaneously bent so that the gas or CO2 emitted by coffee beans can escape out of the package while the oxygen or moisture can not penetrate in. When the pressure is in balance, the film will return to flat and the valve will be closed.
